We're MARRIED!

It has finally come and gone! But the wedding was so beautiful! I could not have asked for anything better! Just wished it would have lasted longer! Seemed to go by WAY to fast!

Anywho! I am kind of tired of my "old" last name and want to start using my new one as much as I can! (Plus I have to get use to saying and using it!) *Thats the hard part!

So with that being said, I have created a whole new blog! Fun Fun! Just for my new little family! Oh how I love saying that! So now I big farewell to my old blog and old last name!! I am going to miss this blog though! I have worked so hard on it! But I do now have a new one, with an AWESOME name to say so myself! So I would LOVE for you to follow us on OUR new family blog!

Gifts....

Today has been a very long day. I started cleaning and rearranging things to make room for more wedding shower gifts! Goodness I think I should be getting paid for this especially with even having dinner on the table when Jonathan got home! I am very proud!


We had got this Shark cordless vacuum cleaner yesterday. So I charged it over night and to my amazement it actually did a great job! Although I did have to empty the compartment out twice. Here is a picture of what it is:
Tomorrow I am going to use that Shark steam mop we got too! I am hoping it does a great job like I think it is going to. Here is that:





As you can probably see I am very proud of all "our" things!

All this cleaning is because Friday is our wedding rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. We are having the rehearsal dinner at our place! We are having it catered by Mean Pig in Cabot! Fun!

I still have A LOT to do with the finishing details for the wedding. But, there are only

till the wedding! Oh how wonderful! I can not wait to be Mrs. Hamric!!

We had our last wedding shower today, which was awesome! The ladies at my "home" church did such a great job! I was very pleased and happy with how everything turned out. We got a lot of great gifts and something that I am very proud of is no DUPLICATES of anything :) yay! Which I am very pleased with.

Wow!

Still feels like it should be forever away like it always has been. The nerves has not hit us yet. I wonder if they will? The "nervousness" I have right now is just hoping everything will fall into place and that it will turn out great!

I am getting nervous now. Only for the reason I feel like there is still a lot to be done! And, I don't know how its all going to get done especially with my working two jobs now! Fun, fun!! But all of the big things are taken care of, like the church of course, flowers, cake, photographer, the invitations. I still have to do the programs, favors, and the food for the reception since we are not having the reception catered! Money, money, money. Right now I am so sick of it! HA!! Isn't that funny?

Since the coming weeks are going to be hectic, for the reason, I have a wedding shower at work tomorrow. Thursday is my last day at Baptist *tear* LOL. Working my other job. And then throw Thanksgiving in there, which is turn includes trips to Memphis and Heber Springs and then of course here in Maumelle. Then guess what?! The next weekend is our WEDDING!! Which I still have to get all the stuff ready for. Finish planning on where things are going, the food, the programs, the favors. AHHH!!!! Oh and on top of that pack mine AND Jonathan's bags for our honeymoon!!! And make sure all our "1st of the month" bills are taken care of before we leave! Feeling my overwhelmed self right now? I sure do!!

I just keep thinking...20 days and I will be Mrs. Hamric! Married to the most wonderful, thoughtful, loving, passionate, caring, understanding, funny, strong, might I add wonderfully handsome man!!! The only thing that counts right now is that. Then off to our Honeymoon for some relaxation and fun!!

23 Days!!

The wedding is getting closer! And we can not be more excited! This whole experience has been one of a kind! It seems like it was not that long ago that our wedding seemed so far away! But now its only like 3 weeks away. Can you believe it? Wow. We were talking earlier today that for so long we have been saying just "XX" number of months, then days, and now it is finally so close its really hitting us.



That we are finally going to be married. Starting our own, new family. And we could not be happier!!



Both of our families becoming one big one. It feels so awesome! I feel so blessed that I have Jonathan to be my "husband" in just a few weeks time. I am truly so lucky to have him! I could not wish for anything better. He is truly my best friend, my love, my everything! I wouldn't be who I am without him. He has made me such a better person and for that I love him even more!



We just can not wait for these 23 days to be over with! haha We are VERY ready for all this planning and stress and running around in circles (that's what it feels like) to be over with and where we can really just enjoy each other and be Husband and Wife and start our new lives together! He even said that on our Honeymoon there is going to be a "NO" cell phone rule! We are going to turn our cell phones off for the week and just get away from everything and everyone! And I totally agree! We can not wait for that week where we have no one to call back, no one to meet, no appointments, no nothing!! Oh it can not get here fast enough!

Bridal things....

Today I went by David's Bridal to get the rest of my stuff to go with my wedding dress. Oh it was fun! Trying on all the different head pieces. I changed my veil and I am happy with what I changed it to. But when my consultant rung it all up WOW!! Thank the lord I am only going to do this once in my life. Weddings are SO expensive. I feel like we have to start saving now for when our daughter gets married and we don't even have one yet! haha

But my Bridal pictures are for Friday, with the weather how its looking, UGH! I hope we don't have to reschedule.

Bridal Shower!!

My Bridal shower is coming up on Nov. 1st and I am so thrilled! The invitations went out a week ago I think and I had not seen them! So the other day my "mother-in-law" showed me what they look like! And they are SO adorable!!! The ladies, at First Baptist Church in Cabot, which are friends of my "mother-in-law" are the awesome women who are putting this together for me! So here are the adorable invitations they made for my Bridal shower!

Isn't it just so darn adorable?! I loved it when it was showed to me! I am getting really excited they have put so much hard work into this and its going to be great!

Invitations Oh My!!

Today we had our little invitation party!! There was Jonathan and I and my mother and his mom. Reye my MOH couldn't be there but that was partly my fault but that's completely OK!!

WOW I didn't know doing this was going to be such HARD work!! We worked all the way from noon after church and we did not leave his mothers house till like 8pm!

We had went over the night before and I made my first Holiday Cheese Log, Sausage Cheese Balls, and this AWESOME Peanut Butter Dip!! Might I say I did a pretty good job!

We did our own invitations, so what I mean by that was we bought the designs we wanted but we printed all the Invitations, Response cards, Direction cards our self so we could design them!

HARD WORD to say the least!!

We only had like 3 testers and boy did we use them and then some! To get all the spacing and sizing just right was a task in itself! But then I got the details just right and then the printer problems!! HAHA Jonathan was pulling his hair out it was funny. There were a few things messed up and when I walked back into the office he was like "Don't hate me!!" because of him messing up but I just laughed! He was cute. So after all the little mishaps, we were good.

Then came all the little details. Like my return address on the response card envelope! And the labels did not want to cooperate with us. So we had to run each response card envelope through the printer!! THEN, the labels for the "outer" envelope did not want to work either. So guess what? I had to write each address by hand.... can you say hand cramps? :) Then we remembered about the postage stamps for the response card envelopes and had to do that. So we actually put all the invitations together maybe 3 times before we had all the pieces in place and remembered everything. FUN FUN!!

See how much fun? My mother-in-law found the cutest stamps at Wal-Mart for the response cards, they are Christmas Stamps. I thought it was perfect to go along with my December Christmas wedding!!

This was towards the end where it was some what organized, after we had already pulled them part a couple of times!! We kept forgetting little things. Silly Silly us.

But all in all we had a very good day! Tying ribbons, stuffing envelops, getting hand cramps, messing up things, runs to Wal-Mart, and laughing was all worth it! I love you guys!

We are mailing all the invitations next weekend, SO after we get them all mailed. I will put up a post of more detailed pictures showing you what the invitations look like all put together. I LOVE THEM!! I hope you will to!

Photo Session!!

Tomorrow was suppose to be our engagement picture session. See how I used the word "was". I have been trying really hard to keep that appointment but my body just isn't letting me. The surgery took a little more of a toll on me then what we expected! We are seriously coming down to a time crunch here! We have 43 days! Left...WOW. It always seemed like SO far away and now it is so close! We still have so much left to do!

So we are trying to shoot our photos not this weekend but next. Yes I know Halloween weekend! That is also my Bridal shower weekend too! I am so excited about that!! From how my mother in law is talking it is going to be something pretty spectacular! I can't wait!!!! Now just if I can get my body back to feeling better!!

I have been bad I know....

Like I said I know I have been really bad, I have not posted in FOREVER!! But a lot has been going on. Yesterday I had surgery which I am doing really well. We had a little scare but everything is okay. My ICP (intercranial pressure) is doing great so I have not had any migraines since I woke up (I had one because I lost to much spinal fluid during the surgery) but so far migraine free! YES!

So it is only 45 DAYS!! Till our wedding! Which is almost 6 weeks! WOW! How time goes by so fast! I am so excited!

We have pictures this weekend and I have my Bridals coming up and there is still so much to do to finish getting ready for the wedding! But it will all work out!

This weekend is also our "invitation party"!! We are going to be doing a lot of stuffing and addressing this weekend so I hope my ladies are up to the challenge! Jonathan too! Don't think hes going to get out of addressing and stuffing envelopes!! I think we might even drag Tyler (BM) into it too!

My first Bridal shower is coming up on the 1st of November! I can not wait!! Me and the mother in law went and got a new dress and shoes just for it! How fun! I am really excited I can not wait...From how the mother in law talks this is going to be a pretty awesome shower!

Wish us luck! We have a lot to do and only 45 days left! WOW!!! I can not get over in 45 days I will be Mrs. Hamric!! Yay me! :) lol

3 Months!!

Today marks exactly 3 MONTHS!! Till our Wedding! How exciting is that?!

100 Days!!!

Today marks the day that we only have 100 days till our WEDDING!! I have been doing so much stuff lately that I have not had the time to sit down and really think about how close our wedding is getting!! I am so excited its unbelievable!!

All my meetings I have had with our wedding coordinator and the people at the church have just been so great! I can not wait till I can sit back and relax until I marry Jonathan!

Fellowship

Today Reye (MOH) and I went to Fellowship and met with the lady about the church. We looked at the Chapel and it is more beautiful than what I remembered! I can not wait till everything is all decorated to see what it is going to look like! I do not think it will need much decorating at all because it is so beautiful just by itself!

Tomorrow Jonathan and I have a bridal preview we have to go to. It should be fun. At the bridal show I registered for so much like they want you too and earlier this week I got a call saying we won a bridal gift package! So we are going to pick it up and see what things they have that might work for us!

Tomorrow is also my bridesmaid's appointment with David's Bridal! I am so excited. Not all of my bridesmaids will be there but that's OK! I am excited for Miranda because shes moving into her new house and that is so much better than trying on dresses I believe!

So much to do and so little time...only 3 months & 15 Days!!!.....

December 5th is coming so fast!!

Tonight Jonathan and I got to relax and little and we went to a Travelers game with his family! I always love being with them! I feel like that is such a blessing that I love my new family so much! Thank you for giving me such an awesome (soon-to-be) new family!

Bridal Show!

The fall Bridal Show was awesome! I took my MOH Reye of course, my mother, my soon to be mother in-law and Reyes boyfriend Moses came! It was so much fun but SO exhausting! There was so much to see and do it was unreal! We got some extremely good ideas! Some of the bouquets there were so breathtaking! They really did a great job! OH! The fashion show was so much fun! The band they had totally rocked and they should with seeing how much they would cost! Geesh!

At the Bridal Shows they have so much you can register to win and of course we all did! To my surprise Jonathan and I won a gift certificate to have 150 off of a videography package! A lot of chocolate also came with that so Jonathan was really pleased! I also was given a bouquet from one of the vendors and it still looks beautiful in one of my vases!

Our first setback....

Well you know we have decided to change the wedding date. So after saying that, I talked to the lady at the church and the weekend of our wedding is already booked by another wedding! Breaks my heart! So now we don't know what we are going to do. Some people say change it again but I really had my heart set on a Christmas wedding! So now we are looking into other options with other places and maybe another church.

Cake Testing...

Now since we have moved the wedding up we are looking for a bakery for our cakes. There are a few we want to try one is the Blue Cake Company. We have seen there cakes and they look absolutely beautiful. One of the other ones is the Community Bakery which comes highly recommended by a lot of people!! The other one is Mickeys Bakery which also has the most beautiful cakes!! I am really excited about this! I have been dreaming of my wedding cake ever since we got engaged! Besides wedding dress shopping and trying them on I believe this is the most exciting part of planning a wedding! Jonathan is just excited that he gets to have an excuse to eat a lot of cake!

My surprise weekend for Jonathan....

I surprised Jonathan with a trip this weekend to Fayetteville! He was so surprised that he could not speak! For anyone that knows Jonathan thats major! He always has something to say. It was fun to get away go somewhere we have never been before and do it together! While we drove up there we took a scenic route though the Boston Mountains it was pretty! I spotted an old bridge and made Jonathan do a U-turn! (we did so many of those haha) Here is a great picture I got of him!

Isn't he too adorable! Well anyway the surprise I had for Jonathan has been in the making for a couple of weeks! I just wanted to do something really special for him that I knew he would absolutely love! Plus, just to say I am so proud of myself! Like I said he was speachless! So the Jonathan's surprise this weekend was to go to Fayetteville to see this:

Bill Engvall!!

We has a really great time I saw the Razorback stadium for the first time, I have lived here all my life and have never been! We watched the Razorbacks practice a little. Explored and had dinner and saw Bill Engvall it was awesome! Also, Sunday as we were leaving we took a little trip to see the Civil war battlefield of Prairie Grove, it was pretty cool.

Friday our Wii finally arrived. We are both addicted to it now. It is so much fun! We can play tennis, basketball, bowling, darts and so much more at home with each other. The thing is hilarious! I bet it is also hilarious to watch us play! We played our Wii till 1 am Saturday! We had a blast. Dont you just love getting new toys? They are so much fun!

Now we really have to get to planning our wedding! it is only 4 months away now! We are both really happy with what we decided. We can not wait.

A major change!!

Jonathan and I have been talking about moving our wedding date. We have come to a decision after a lot of thought and major discussions and we are moving our date from April 17, 2010 up to December. So we are getting married in:

December, 2009.

We decided that a year long engagement was not for us. It is four months sooner than what we had originally planned and we both are VERY happy and thrilled with what we chose to do. So yes now it is only 131 days away!! Which is only a little over 4 months away!!!

Wedding Updates!

I know I have not blogged in awhile SOO much has gone on!! We met with the photographer and LOVED HER!! So we now have a photographer! So exciting!!

Last weekend we went with the (soon-to-be) in-laws to Memphis for Jonathan's dad's birthday! I got to see some more of his family that I have heard of but never met. They were all really nice! I feel SO greatly blessed that I have such great (soon-to-be) in-laws and family on Jonathan's side! Before we left for Memphis (all in his mothers van! 5 adults!!) Jonathan's mom broke out the camera because she does not have pictures of us together. And as people who know us know Jonathan and I do not like to have our pictures taken! So the new header I made are of some pictures she took!

Also, like I have said before I am very indecisive, so I know I have changed colors for the wedding like 5 times already but I have stayed with the watermelon pink so here are the colors of the wedding:

Photographer Update!

This is going to be a quick post, I just had to let you guys know that
Friday the 24th Jonathan and I are going to meet with a photographer we both actually LOVE! We have not been able to agree on one. He would like one and I wouldn't and vice versa. It is so great that we finally found one we both love. So wish us luck! I am really excited to finally have found one and to be that much closer to getting engagement pictures!! Ahhh! lol :)

9 MONTHS!!

I know we still have awhile till our big day BUT...today makes it exactly.....
9 months!!! till our wedding!! I am so excited. I know it is still awhile like I said but, still it is exciting! No more double digit months (LOL) we are down to single digit months! I just cant wait till we are only down to double digit days till the wedding! .....274 days just seems like forever!! Soon enough though.....

on to other business...Wedding photographer....

I believe I have found one. She is from Heber (where I am from) and everything I have seen of hers has been great!! So hopefully it will not be too much longer and we will be having our engagement pictures done! I am really really looking forward to that! It is going to be so much fun!

Our 4th of July!

We left Friday afternoon to drive to Heber Springs to my moms. When we got there we ate and then I took Jonathan sight seeing!! I showed him everything! He was probably thinking "when is this going to be over?" But I saved the best for last a took him to this awesome overlook that is a "hidden" gem! It over looks the Dam, J. F. Kennedy overlook and the Little Red river. He loved it! Saturday we ran my moms yard sale for her and then it was off to sandy beach for the fireworks!! AWESOME! Here's a few pictures :)

We were sitting in the perfect spot down on the beach to watch the fireworks!! And some rather "crazy" people!!

People were slowly getting their boats into any spots that were free! Until this "White House on water" as some of the colorful people called it moved in!!

It was slowly starting to get crowed.....

Then there was the pretty awesome rainbow that was almost over us!!

Well there was a storm moving in so they started the fireworks just a few minutes early but that did not help! As soon as the first one went off the down pour of rain started and everyone went running! But we did not move because we were a little smarter and brought umbrellas! So there Jonathan and I were with my family in the rain watching the fireworks! Jonathan and I stood up because the rain was collecting in the seats and we stood there in the RAIN holding each other watching the fireworks!! Oh my lord was it SOO ROMANTIC!! I loved every soaking wet minute of it!! It made it just that much more special and memorable to me! Plus this is the first time Jonathan has ever been to a event like this for the 4th of July! So it was pretty cool that his first experience like this we were together for! He said it was really cool and we definitely have to make this our tradition!! Which my mom and aunt are definitely cool with! They loved it too! I am just so happy he loved it that much because it has been mine and my moms tradition for years to do our 4th of July like this! So bringing Jonathan into this just makes it soo much better for all of us! Hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July like I did!!

Invitations and Engagement party

The other week I got a great idea, from a friend at work (Thank you!), about this great website that has some pretty awesome invitations!! It is called Etsy.com they have some pretty great stuff. But, I have came across these other websites that you can create your own invitations! I can not stop playing with them! I think I have became addicted! It is just so much fun playing with different fonts, colors, and designs!! This whole create your own is awesome but, lord how can I ever pick one? :)

So you can tell what I have been playing with tonight :) I have ordered a sample of one I created and I can not wait till I get it! I have fallen in love with this website! It is getrelish.com!

I have been trying to get our engagement party together! But, trying to find a weekend where both sets of our parents are free has been a little tough! I am kinda nervous and excited at the same time! This will be the first time our families have met. So I hope it all goes really great!

FINALLY!!

I forgot to post about this earlier but it is finally in the single digit months!!! We now only have drum roll please.....

9 months , 3 weeks, and 1 day!!!

until the big day!!! I am soo excited, now it does not seem that far away! When we first got engaged it was almost a year till the big day! (actually just 10 days shy of being a year) Now it is slowly ever so slowly getting closer!! I just can not wait till we are even just at 6 months away!! I am just so happy to be in the single digit months now! Like I said, now it doest seem so far away! YaY!! :)

Just for fun!

This weekend I went home to my moms. I had a lot of fun because we babysat both of my nephews! Of course Trip is only 3 months old so we did not really sleep through the night, but it was actually fun waking up and feeding him and then holding him until he went back to sleep! On the wedding front I have not had much time to do anything other than look at ideas and boy have I found a lot!! I have soo many good ideas I wish I could do them all but I can not. So I am really going to have to narrow it down! Lord I do not know how I am going to do that, they are all just too beautiful! Here is one of the ideas that I just LOVE!!

This weekend Jonathan and I are going to my mothers for the 4th of July. She has asked us to run her yard sale she is going to have. Fun fun. Plus, Heber always has their fireworks but this year because the lake is so high they are not having all the rest of there 4th of July festivities...which is a little sad!

Tomorrow I am having a root canal, my tooth broke in half over the weekend, fun right? So wish me luck I sure do need it! I am so scared of Dentists it is not funny!! Good thing Jonathan is going to be there with me.

More Wedding planning...and some fun :)

Last weekend Jonathan and I took a little "mini" getaway to Branson. I love that place. We took in some shows, The Dixie Stampede and the New Shanghi Circuis. It was a really great weekend!! They also have been remodeling the Hollywood Wax Museum and this time it was finally open!! So of course I dragged Jonathan in there and had some pretty funny photo ops! Tomorrow I am meeting with Debbie at the church (Pleasant Valley) to talk about all the details for having the wedding there. Today, when we were at his parents for Fathers day lunch, his mom gave me a "guesstimate" on how many to expect from his side....in total with his + mine and people from work....were looking at get this....

150!!!

WOW!! I am a little taken back. I wanted a small wedding but, I guess thats a little out of the question now. Oh well, I just hope it turns out wonderful! And everyone had a great time. I feel like I can get a lot done now that we have a place and I have a rounded out number of how many people to expect.

Now, I am getting in full planning mode! Look out!! I know Reye will be happy!! That girl has been on me about getting on the ball with planning!!

Wedding Dress :)

A couple of weeks ago I had my bridal appointment at David's Bridal. I absolutely loved it! I loved being in those wedding dresses!! Saturday Evie went with me but I went back on Monday with my mom. I thought Saturday I had found "the one" but when my mother and I went back that is when I found MY dress!!!

I am so thrilled!! I can not believe I have MY WEDDING DRESS!! Goodness and it is so hard not to go and get it out and look at it every day!! But, I have to be very careful so Jonathan will not see it!


I fell in love with the veil that I had tried on with my dress but, I am holding off on getting it. My mom had a great idea of me wearing her veil!! That would be my something borrowed! Just the thought of wearing my mothers veil that she wore on her wedding day is a great feeling!!


Not too long ago Jonathan and I went to a Trav's game with his brother and some friends. It was such a great time. I can not wait till we can go to another one. There is one picture of Jonathan that I took at the game that I love! He looks so adorable! Here it is:

So this weekend we are going to Branson! I can not wait!! We have not gotten away from everything in quite some time! I am really looking forward to it. We need some time away from work and everything and just have fun and relax!! I can not wait till we get up there and I can go to Branson Landing! I am in love with that place.

Wedding update...

On another note, I am VERY indecisive when it comes to making decisions. So of course, when it comes to making decisions about our upcoming wedding I change my mind a million times! Now I am thinking about a destination wedding. I would love to get married on the beach in the Bahamas with just our close family, my parents and brother and his parents and brother. Then have a big reception/party when we get back for everyone else!!

Then, we were talking about something last night. We absolutely love our new church. The chapel they have is amazing!! Our wedding is in April. You know the saying "April showers bring May flowers."? Well I have been thinking about the huge chance we would be taking with having the wedding outside. So we decided to have it at our new church in the chapel. I am still with the whole pink/silver color scheme. I just have to figure out how to incorporate blue into it all. Still thinking there!

Invitations, Colors, and More....

Today we looked at invitations and to our disappointment we didn't find any that we loved or even liked. So, we are looking for someone who maybe could do the invitations for us.

Once again I have changed my colors for the wedding, now I am on a pink kick. :) So I will probably be sticking with the pink. I have always loved that color but some how I do want to incorporate blue into the color scheme because, that is OUR favorite color.

So next Saturday is my bridal appointment at David's Bridal. I am so excited. I am going to be trying on wedding dresses!!! I bet when I go to put that first one on I think this is all going to hit me.... I truly am getting married!! To the best guy in the world too! Wow. Me married! Its unbelievable! I can't wait to try on that first dress and to see myself in it. Goodness. I am really looking forward to that.

I know this may sound really weird but I am really looking forward to the marriage counseling. I feel that is going to be a really great thing for us. I look forward to finding out new things about Jonathan and our relationship. Plus, learning how to deal with things that will arise in our marriage and what will make our marriage stronger!!

One major thing we are working on right now is the church issue. Jonathan was raised Baptist and I Church of Christ. Very different. So we are looking for a church that we BOTH like and would love to call our church home! Tomorrow we are going to Fellowship out on Chenal. A friend from work goes there and I have heard great things about it. We are also looking at the New Life Church here in Maumelle. So we will see what happens. I believe, truly believe, that we will just know where we belong.

Making a registry is hard work!!

Today we spent the morning with my mother and going to church with her, then we went to his parents for lunch.

Then that's when the fun began....

We went to Bed Bath & Beyond and registered. Oh my goodness. Was that EXHAUSTING!! But, I will have the link up to our registry soon. So go check it out! I fell in love with the bone china we picked out!! It was the first ones we looked at and we both loved it! Can you believe that? Our tastes are so much a like its weird! We are setting up an appointment with his preacher for wed. that is my day off this week. Then hopefully, this weekend we will be going to look at Marlsgate Plantation over in Scott. I am so excited about that!! It looks so beautiful!! So wish us luck!

Update...

So we moved into our townhouse this weekend. And if I do say so myself....it is gorgeous!! The furniture and all the things we bought to decorate with it just looks like some thing out of a magazine. I LOVE IT!!

Wedding Updates:

We have been looking around for places to have our wedding. We decided we want an outside wedding. We have a few places in mind and were trying to set up appointments to view all of them.

I have been just browsing around on Davidsbridal.com at dresses and I can not wait to start trying them all on!! I have a huge list of favorites!!

I feel so over whelmed by all the things I am going to have to do..Thank god I have a year to do it in. But, the anxiety of it all coming together and being absolutely beautiful on our wedding day is going to weigh on my mind.

I went to Barnes and Noble and got a wedding planner/organizer. When I read all the things we have to do and plan for..that is when I felt overwhelmed. How can I do all of this? But, it will be fun I hope!!

I'm Engaged!!

I am officially engaged to the man of my dreams!! Jonathan asked me Sunday night to marry him!
I couldn't breathe! I had to ask him to ask me again because I could not hear him ask the first time because I was trying to remember how to breathe!

The Story

You're probably wondering how we met well here we go.....It was January of 2005 when we both started Surgical Tech school at Baptist in Little Rock. Now she was from Heber Springs and I was from Cabot. Now in class I was the loud one sitting in front of the class and she was the quiet one sitting in the middle trying not to be noticed but I was noticing her well enough, but was still unsure what she was about and who she was. We finally graduated in December of 2005 and both started work at Baptist Health in Little Rock at the Main OR. Trisha and I were friends when we first started out cause we both worked the same shift and it was easier to see her everyday. We dated a couple of times but nothing serious for the both of us at that time, but after talking to her there was something there but we both were unsure about those feelings. After she started working the late shift we kinda grew apart as friends since she worked in General and I worked in Orthopedics and we really never saw one another except for those occationally times in the hallway. She started dating someone about a year of being there and I was doing my own thing and working hard but we still said Hi to one another every now and then. I left for Houston, TX after being there for about two years and was gone for Ten months and during that time we didn't really talk cause she was dating that person then and I was 500 miles away working. Once I came back thou I found out that she had broke up with that guy and then we became close friends again and then we found out the feelings between us were stronger than we thought. After months of dating we decided to go further in our relationship and it happened after the Brad Paisley concert on January 17 2009 and we have been happy ever since that faithful night and right now it seems it's going to be a long and happy relationship.
